Congratulations to Dr. Shia Yi Xun on her PhD Thesis

We extend our congratulations to  Shia Yi Xun from the Steffens Lab on successfully defending her PhD thesis on "Immune mechanisms of sex differences in cardiac fibrosis"

Shia's PhD thesis shed light on sex differences in cardiac fibrosis and immune mechanisms involved in this process.

Shia was enrolled within the CRC1123 Graduate School PhD Program, allowing her to collect the necessary European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) points to obtain her PhD in Medical Research. The CRC1123 offers doctoral candidates and MDs,  a large array of projects within different scientific landscapes.
